Jon McAuley, AIA LEED AP
ARCHITECT, TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Jon McAuley is an accomplished technical architect with a passion for delivering purpose forward projects at all scales. He is an authority on hospitality and multifamily residential design verticals, completing inspiring ground up projects for Marriott, Hyatt and Hilton among many others.
In addition to his outstanding achievements in hospitality and multifamily residential design, Jon has successfully designed, managed and delivered exceptional projects for single family residential, workplace, retail, and industrial clients. He understands our client's vision and interprets that understanding into successful project outcomes over a dynamic project team.
Through investigating and testing design concepts against real world conditions, Jon manages to consistently create high quality projects. He has deep experience coordinating multiple disciplines and overseeing the production of thorough design documents. He expertly works with codes and jurisdictions to help fellow design staff and clients navigate complex planning and building permit processes while maintaining the original vision and monitoring the budget and schedule.
Dedicated to mentoring, Jon enjoys assisting staff in developing their professional abilities and has helped create and implement staff training programs that ensure the future quality of our work as well as the strength of the industry as a whole.
Jon is committed to giving back to the community and spearheads Thunder Egg Collaborative's philanthropy program, identifying, coordinating and donating to causes impacting children, the environment and our society.
Prior to Thunder Egg Collaborative, Jon worked at SERA Architects, Callison, and Myhre Group. He is registered in Oregon and Washington State.
